Cosplaying Kagome was like a childhood dream come true. I was obsessed with Inuyasha when I was young, it felt like a project I should have done sooner. But waiting as long as I did, meant I got to cosplay this with my friends. Everyone’s look came together so well, and we were lucky enough to find a location that had some beautiful cherry blossoms. Something that is iconic enough to the series. This was also a stash buster project for me, so the only thing I needed to buy was her knee high socks.
My top was a basic uniform block that I worked out for myself, it’s one that I use for all my school girl uniforms that I make. The skirt was made using Simplcity 8160.
